You came to install my gas meter but could not because of an issue. Now what do I do?

If you were left an explanation or tag with information about why we could not set your gas meter, please contact your licensed contractor to fix the issue and then make another request for a meter.

Citizens Energy Group was not able to enter the premises and did not leave the meter. Now what do I do?

If we were not able to enter the premises, please choose another date and request to have your new Natural Gas meter and/ or delivery pressure increase as quickly as of the next business day in most cases. Simply select reply in the email response sent originally.

I do not know the type of pipe used, the delivery pressure needed nor the BTU load for my new Natural Gas equipment. Where can I find that information or what should I do?

Please contact a licensed contractor to assist with your questions. They can tell you the type of pipe they are using, the delivery pressure required, and the individual BTU load for each piece of Natural Gas equipment. They should also know where the meter is to be located if that information is needed.

Does my contractor install the gas line like they did for water and sewer?

No. Citizens Energy Group is responsible for the installation and maintenance all of natural gas mains and service lines from the main back to the meter setting including the meter. The property owner is responsible for everything past the meter, including inside gas lines and equipment.
