Citizens' Underground Engineering & Construction Group hosted a group of civil geotechnical graduate students from Purdue University through the national ASCE Geo-Institute in collaboration with the Underground Construction Association of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration.
Mike Miller and Tim Shutters presented about the DigIndy tunnel and Mike led a site tour of the tunnel starting at the White River Tunnel Launch Shaft, providing the opportunity to see the lined Deep Rock Tunnel Collector and the tunnel boring machine in the unlined White River Tunnel.
