Recently Started or Stopped Service

Most Common Cause: If the account on which you stopped service had a remaining balance, it will automatically transfer to an active account.

Recommended Action: When you receive your next bill, the actual read will reflect the difference.


Less Common Cause: Connection fees apply when you connect to a new water or sewer service line. They may be listed under the Other Charges portion of your bill.

Recommended Action: Contact your contractor to discuss the situation further, as they can provide information on which fees they paid and which fees they did not.
