Why did Citizens change the bill?

We changed our bill based on feedback we received from customers like you. We conducted surveys and focus groups and applied those suggestions to our new bill. We also modeled our new bill after top rated industry leaders' bills.

What are the benefits of the new bill format?

The new bill was redesigned to make the most important information easy to read. Your Account Number, Amount Due and Date Due are large and at the top of the bill. We also added 13 month usage graphs and FAQs on the back of the bill.

Why did you change the historical information?

Citizens now provides a full 13 month graph of data for both water and gas so you can better understand your usage. We want you to be informed so you can manage your usage by recognizing trends and being able to spot unusual spikes in usage, like water leaks.

Do I have to get a paper bill?

No - you can sign up for Paperless Billing by enrolling in Alerts & Notifications. We can send you email, text or voice alerts for payment and service reminders. Learn more about Alerts & Notifications

Can I view my bill on my phone?

Yes! Our website is mobile-ready and works on any device. Just search for Citizens Energy Group or visit CitizensEnergyGroup.com on your phone or tablet.
