Carole Casto
Vice President, Marketing and Communications, Cummins
Carole is the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Cummins. Before assuming this role, she served as the Executive Director of Corporate Communications.
Since joining Cummins in 2003, Carole has been a trailblazer and is at her best when leading a transformation to improve performance. Improving productivity while championing diversity and inclusion are paramount chapters in her leadership playbook. Throughout her career, she has held several leadership positions, including Director of Community Engagement, Director of Community Development, Six Sigma Quality Champion, LDS Implementation Leader, and Six Sigma Black Belt. Prior to Cummins, Carole served in a variety of leadership roles at the State of Indiana.
Carole earned her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Marquette University.
She is a board member of the Indiana Latino Institute and served as the moderator for the 2024 Latino Leadership Circle Cohort. Additionally, Carole is on the Marquette University Dean’s Advisory Council and has previously served the Economic Club of Indiana and the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce. In 2025, she will join the board of Citizens Energy Group and will return to the Indianapolis Chamber Executive Committee, continuing her commitment to service and the Indianapolis community.
Carole’s professional achievements have been recognized through numerous awards, including PR Weekly’s Women to Watch, Indiana Business Journal’s Woman of Influence, Marquette University’s Top 100 Alumnae, and IBJ’s Forty Under 40.
