Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Citizens Westfield provides a credit to your gas account with the purchase of high efficiency natural gas appliances. To be eligible for rebates you must be a Citizens Westfield customer with natural gas service and provide proof that eligible products have been installed. 

The following rebates are available for Citizens Westfield natural gas customers. Please Note: these rebates are not available to customers in Marion County.

  • Must be WiFi capable and connected to the home. Must have three of the following features: Occupancy sensors, Proximity sensing, Algorithms that learn occupant behavior, Basic demand response capability

Natural Gas Furnace 

  • Residential 97% or greater the rebate is $300

  • Residential 96% the rebate is $200

  • Commercial 92% - 94% the rebate is $150

  • Commercial 95% and above, the rebate is $250 

  • Furnace must be primary heating source

  • Dual-fuel systems not eligible

Furnace Tune-Up 

  • Tune-up rebate not available on new equipment installation

  • Customer must not have an existing Preventative Maintenance Contract or Agreement

  • Homes must have Citizens Westfield natural gas as the primary heat source to be eligible for this rebate

  • Gas furnace must be primary heat source

  • Systems supplementing gas space heating with an air source, dual-fuel or geothermal heat pump are not eligible

  • Furnace Tune-Up rebate available once every 24 months per furnace

  • Tune-Up must include the following:

    • Ensure Thermostat working properly (Pre & Post)

    • Clean safety controls (adjust as needed)

    • Clean burners and controls

    • Clean pilot assembly and ensure proper function

    • Adjust burner for efficiency

    • Ensure belts, filter and flue are clean/intact with no blockages

    • Lubricate any moving parts

    • Verify no gas leaks present

    • Ensure dampers are on heating position

    • Check overall performance and efficiency of system

Conversion Rebate Program

Existing Citizens Westfield gas customers who use electricity, oil or propane could be paying a premium compared to natural gas. We want to help you save on your energy costs with a credit to your gas account when you switch your current appliance to a new natural gas appliance.

The following rebates are available for Citizens Westfield natural gas customers:

What you will need to apply:

  1. Your Citizens Westfield gas service account number found at the top of your bill.

  2. Installing contractor information (if applicable).

  3. A copy of your itemized invoice that contains all equipment and installation information. If self-installing, include a copy of the receipt (a home inspection may be required).
