Citizens Energy Group at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Swimming
In June 2024, two million gallons of treated water was purchased from Citizens Energy Group via the White River for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Swimming. After the event, we then collected all of that water for treatment and safe release back into the White River.

Citizens was proud to help Indianapolis host this major event which saw world swimming records broken and six Hoosier swimmers qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games!
When pool construction was complete, our skillful employees were on hand to help guide the water into two different pools at about 1,400 gallons per minute! All of that water was supplied by a little hydrant just outside the doors of Lucas Oil Stadium. It's the same water we supply every day to our Central Indiana customers.
Two million gallons may sound like a lot of water, but did you know that Citizens delivers more than 125 million gallons of water on average to Central Indiana homes and businesses every day?
And in hot summer months, as much as 100 million gallons EACH DAY is traced to customers simply watering their lawn. This is often unnecessary, because established Indiana lawns only need water twice a week.
With the U.S. Olympic Trials now complete, we continue to focus on helping our Central Indiana customers be wise with their water use, which can help save on your water bill!

Eligibility is limited to one (1) entry per user on each social media platform.
Winners will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received throughout the Sweepstakes Period, Saturday, August 17 at 10am through Sunday, August 25 at 9pm
Potential winner will be notified by social media (to obtain their email address) and must respond to the notification within forty-eight (48) hours of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected and notified, time permitting.
Citizens reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify this Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In the event of cancellation, the Prizes will be awarded in random drawings from among all eligible Entries received for each drawing prior to cancellation. Citizens and their agencies are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen or misdirected entries; lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections, garbled transmissions or miscommunications, telephone transmission problems; computer or software malfunctions or damage to a user’s computer equipment (software or hardware); technical failures; or other errors or malfunctions of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, or otherwise.
